L.R.U.C. Mission Statement
Since the inception of Lake Regional Urgent Care, our mission has been to provide expert patient care without having to wait hours in an emergency room or days to get in to see your primary care provider. We offer same day professional and timely medical services, so you can get on with your day, and feel better. With locations in the Villages and Mount Dora. We offer medical services to the Central Florida area including X-rays, IV treatments, EKG’s, and we accept most types of insurance.
Susan Neal, APRN-BC
Zaher Elmir graduated from the University of Florida with the highest honors in Chemistry and Zoology. He then went on to get a masters degree in Organic Chemistry from the Florida Institute of Technology. Then he became a fire-fighter/paramedic working for Brevard county. Dr. Elmir earned his medical degree from Florida State University and trained in general surgery at the prestigious Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

We came to the Lake Regional Urgent Care today because we suspected my husband had more than the flu or a cold. The LRUC diagnosed his pneumonia with a thorough exam including x rays and blood tests. He received IV antibiotics immediately and he will get followup IV antibiotic treatment for 3 days at this fine facility. This is an excellent experience for us, especially appreciated because we have relocated here recently. Thank you again for providing a fine Urgent Care service in our area.

The lovely lady up front is phenomenal & welcoming, I definitely felt my anxiety over being in an urgent care setting eased by her demeanor. Everyone was thorough & explained what was wrong & my treatment was excellent. I got the help I needed and I would use them again. Highly recommend as the best place to get urgent care in the Eustis/Mount Dora area!

Amber is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a background in emergency medicine and primary care. She has a passion for serving her local community with 20 years plus experience in medicine. In her time off, she enjoys spending time with her family, a good glass of wine, crime podcasts, and outdoor activities.
Susan Neal APRN- BC
Susan Neal is a Nurse Practitioner. Her specialty background is Emergency and Cardiovascular Intensive Care. She is the daughter of a Nurse and the mother of a Nurse; it's in her genes. Susan has worked at LRUC for 5 years under Dr. Dominick and will continue his style of medicine.
Tim Roberts APRN-BC
Tim Roberts is a Nurse Practitioner and is licensed in Florida. He specializes in Prenatal Care and Aging in Place. Along with other conditions you may need attention too. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Tim was a paramedic for 20 + years. When Tim isn't saving lives he is spending time with his two lovely children.

Alch, Lloyd M.D., F.A.C.E.P.
Lloyd G. Alch is board certified in emergency medicine and has been an emergency physician for 34 years. He has practiced medicine in the United States, Ireland and Norway. He speaks fluent Norwegian. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, and his medical degrees from the Royal College of Surgeons and The Royal College of Physicians.
